U-17 WAFU Zone B: Black Starlets starting XI against Togo out

Coach Abdul Karim Zito looks to rescue his side from early exit as he readies to rub shoulders with Togolese Under-17 team in today’s WAFU Zone B Championship second game.

The Black Starlets of Ghana drew goalless against host nation Niger last Thursday, as their hopes for the African Youth Championship 2019 to be held in Tanzania hangs in the balance if they lose this match.

Stopper  David Kudjo keeps his position in the post  and will be guarded by a robust back four comprising skipper  Alhassan Uzair, who will be playing at the left side of defence , Abdul Samed Karim from right back coupled with a solid central defensive duo of Samed Abdul and Nathaniel Adjei making up the defence.

Eugene Frimpong and Simon Appiah Mensah would be manning the centre of midfield. Abdul Rashid, the only inclusion to the team in the first game will be running in from the right side of attack with Samson Agyapong contributing from the opposite side.

Taufic Shaibu and Christian Agyenim Boateng will lead the attack for the starlets who need nothing short of a win or a goal scoring draw to advance to the next stage.

The match kicks off at 15:30 GMT.
